Samanea Innovation joined 1% for the Planet

Samanea Innovation officially joined 1% for the Planet and I couldn't be more proud. For me, it's more than a membership. It's a commitment. A first concrete step toward giving back to nature, and one that’s deeply aligned with Samanea Innovations’ purpose: for people and planet.

So, what is 1% for the Planet?

Founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard (Patagonia) and Craig Mathews, it's a global nonprofit network of businesses that commit to donating at least 1% of their annual revenue directly to vetted environmental organizations. Today, more than 4’700 businesses are members, and together they have already directed hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental causes worldwide.
